Enviroguard  recently completed a bird wire installation at Blackpool and Fylde College.

Feral pigeons were roosting on the leading edge of the building,  fouling from the birds was staining the newly installed clading which was making the new facade look untidy.

Enviroguard worked closely with the architect to design an effective control that did not detract from the design of the building.

Over 300 meters of bird wire has been installed on the leading edge of the building, this work forced the pigeons away from the edge of the cladding, in turn removing the staining issues.

All work was completed safely with the aid of man anchors and fall restraint equipment, the installation is working well to date.
