Description
Solar Mesh Speed Clip for fixing mesh to panels that do not have a lip on the underside frame for traditional fixing clips.
Available in 30mm 35mm & 40mm sizes to suit most solar panel frames.
The clips can be supplied in UV stabilized clear polycarbonate or black polycarbonate to match the chosen mesh colour.
Remove warranty conflicts when installing bird proofing mesh to your solar panels as there is no drilling into the panel frame.
Choosing and fitting the Solar Mesh Speed Clip
The speed clip is for solar panels that have no lip on the underside of the frame, so the traditional clips have nothing to hook on to. It clips on to the side of the panel frame and passes through the mesh apertures to hold the mesh in place, with no drilling. If your panels do have a return lip, the premium adjustable clip or the push fit clip is the alternative.

Which size speed clip do I need?
Measure the depth of your solar panel frame and choose the size that matches it: 30mm, 35mm or 40mm. Our installation guide shows where to measure.
How many speed clips do I need?
We recommend 5 clips for every metre of mesh. Add up the lengths of all the sides of your array to get the perimeter, then multiply by 5. A 20m perimeter, for example, needs 100 clips. Our speed clip kits include 150 clips with 30m of mesh, which is the same rate.
Will fitting them affect my panel warranty?
The clips fix to the panel frame without any drilling, which removes the warranty conflicts that come with drilling into the frame.
Can I take the mesh off to clean the panels?
Yes. Our installation guide explains that the speed clip is simple to remove for maintenance and cleaning by reversing the way it was fitted.
Clear or black?
Choose clear or black to match your mesh. Black sits well with the black PVC coated mesh.
