Post and Wire For Masonry
Post and wire for brick, block, stone and concrete. The system is nearly invisible from the ground, which is why it is specified on frontages, listed buildings and anywhere a run of spikes would be the thing people notice.
Posts are drilled and anchored into the masonry, in separate heights for pigeon and for gull work, because a gull needs a taller wire to be deterred. The wire is tensioned between them on springs so it stays taut through temperature changes, and terminated with crimps.
Complete kits are available for both pigeon and seagull, or buy posts, wire, springs, crimps and the crimp tool separately. The 6.5mm masonry bit is the one sized for the anchor rivets.
